The study says 22% of people use smartphones in the Loo, 84% take their phones to bed, 56% check their phones during meals and 60% people use their phone mostly for games and entertainment.
It is true that we all have a deep attachment with our smartphones but excess use of anything is not good. Excessive use of mobiles is diverting people from their work and making it more difficult for them to be dynamic because the first thing they do every morning is checking messages and updates.
Social media addiction is at its greatest. Uploading photos, likes, and comments are distracting individuals from work and the real world. It happens to all, no sooner we get little time everyone we start checking our mobile leaving all work pending. Not only this, many relationships are also getting affected due to the excess use of mobile and other gadgets.
Few ways to deal with this addiction is:
- Don’t touch mobiles and other gadgets unless it is not very much important especially when you are at work, driving or at home.
- Encourage your children to play outdoor games instead of allowing them to play or watch cartoons on mobiles.
- Keep away your phones and gadgets while you go to sleep.
Isolate yourself from the mobile world and attach yourself to the real world. Wake up to other joys of life and smell the refreshing blossom.
