Rajat Sharma, one of the India's leading journalists, still stands as one of the most unbiased people in the Media Industry. His Iconic show 'Aap Ki Adalat' has been on the air since the 90's and has regained the authority of asking tough questions even to the people holding the highest positions in their respective industries. From Businessmen to Politicians, Sportsperson to Actors, Rajat Sharma has been known to be unfazed by anyone and put out his questions in a strict, direct yet humble way.

The latest guest on India TV's special series 'Chunav Manch', which is on the same lines of 'Aap Ki Adalat', was the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Akhilesh Yadav.

Here are the top answers which were given by UP CM Akhilesh Yadav to Rajat Sharma:

Recently, the Samajwadi Party was in a lot of news with speculations of a rift between UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and his uncle Shivpal Yadav. He clarified that there may be disagreements in the family. But all those issues would be resolved under the leadership of Mulayam Singh Yadav. When it was alleged that the internal problems are arising due to him. He simply replied that the problems may be due to the position of Chief Minister that he holds and not because of him.

When asked about the certain courageous decisions that were taken by him recently regarding the re-shuffling of the portfolios. His reply was that usually, only young leaders can take bold decisions.

When asked certain questions on how the development can co-exist with the politics, he stated that although politics is bound to come in the course of development, his party's main agenda lies on development.

When he was told that the law and order in UP are not favorable, then he raised the question that if this was the case, then there would have been no recent investments from companies like HCL, Infosys, and the massive infrastructure projects.

When asked why should people again vote for SP in the upcoming assembly elections, he stressed on the fact that their work speaks for them and people now see UP in good light.

Apart from these answers related to his administration, which he justified in detail during the interview, the below quotes by him display his personal as well as philosophical ideologies:

"I would even give away my CM chair, provided the person who wants it, really deserves it."

"Apart from the government's efforts, there needs to be a change in the attitude of the society to reduce the crime rate."

"People who at the top, are always lonely."

UP CM Akhilesh Yadav maintained his composure throughout the one-hour long interview with Rajat Sharma. He clearly replied to each and every question in  a simple yet strong way. He was also appreciated by some journalists and dignified guests who were given a chance to ask questions to him during this session. It is rare to see some person handling such tough questions with an ease and smile on the face, this quality was even appreciated by Rajat Sharma himself. The audience could relate to him and also applauded him on several occasions, now that is what we expect from a people's leader.
