Android Wear: Are they in right time?

What are Android Wear?

Android Wear are the wearable devices like the smartwatch, fitness trackers, wireless earphones etc. The devices which run on android platforms like watch operating systems.

Uses of the android wear

These are paired with the android phones which we use on daily basis for all the purposes like calling, texting, playing games, social media, fitness, dating and the list goes on forever, depending on our needs. So we are in constant touch with people we love and follow for varied reasons which make us get notification for each and everything like tweets or Facebook status or the picture of your food for lunch with the address of the hotel all these with many other things get uploaded thousands of time per minute.

These every minute upload leads to constant notification for the people who are following you and of those people whom you follow along with the daily emails and the things from to-do list, hence every time a notification comes, your phone rings and you have to check it for which you have to take out your phone and see if it is important or not. Think of frustration you go through to find out that it is some spam text or mail for advertisement. Here comes the lifesaving android wear which reduces our work of taking out the phone to check the notification instead all you have to do is check the wrist as if you're checking the time and if it is important you can reply to it with the android wear itself forgetting the phone in your bag or pocket.

Are they right in time?

Yes, they are definitely right on time for saving some time to unnecessary notifications during the important meeting or while driving, so many other things we do where taking calls and checking messages may be life threatening or it may be embarrassing, unnecessary for that specific time which can be saved by this simple device. All you have to do is replace you conventional watch with this smart-watch with your liking as there are so many of them to choose from companies like Motorola, Huawei, Pebble, Martian, also the regular watch makers like Casio, Titan etc. are taking their step to be in competition.

Cons of android wear

As much as they are useful, they also have some negatives which are common for anything new. These are still in developing stage with prices being high for which majority of people are not ready to shed the hard earned bills on an unstable device. Also, it adds another device to your charging port every night, you have to charge it with other things. Depending on the uses you have to be a little more careful with using watch as most have waterproofing but some may not.

Finally, should you buy it or not??

It all depends on you if you are full into social media and get constant updates of people you follow of you want to share what you are doing with your follower and you want to know what’s going in the world with news and with those celebrity tweets which you cannot miss or the steps you take daily to check the calories burnt etc.

After which comes is the mindset, where you have to shed the money and the willingness to use it, as they are still not accepted by a majority of people. They think it's unnecessary for them or they can get the work done without it. But for those who think it is useful, they’ll try it and also use it as they planned or they’ll learn the ways to use them to its maximum. It won’t be a matter of price or lack of development for the person who thinks these are useful in their daily life, hence they will buy them and use it. As it is been 2-3 years of android wear in the market so you can go ahead and buy if you find it useful and comes in your budget.

But before buying check them and compare them as which suits best for your need and budget also check for features like developer support along with interchangeable belts so that you can match it with your use.
