It is going to benefit around beneficiary 55,00,000 families and it also includes various other social initiatives like compulsory school enrollment of children and free medical facilities. Around 3.6 crore bank accounts were opened with respect to this welfare scheme and it is the largest number of bank accounts in any state of India.
