The Age of Monochrome: Wardrobe essentials for summers

While scrolling down my Pinterest board I was going through my wardrobe evolution and it struck me that no matter what the occasion, monochrome will always look classically elegant, adding a refined understatement to your all over style.

So, when in doubt, go for the basic Black and White pieced in your wardrobe.

I have assorted a few looks for the summers:

1. Wear a simple chambray dress in vertical stripes to accentuate your height.
Add a minimalistic solid black belt and a messy bun with a sling bag or a clutch.

2. To add a little spunk to your outfit, pair a simple white T-shirt with high-waisted crop—pants and a flannel shirt.
White converse will give you comfort and effortlessness.
An artsy beret and wine colored lips will give you the confidence to rule the city.

3. This look is perfect for casual dates.
A boat-neck, fitted full sleeves top paired with a tulle skirt and black ballet flats.
A beret will add class to the look.
A bold statement belt will exude confidence.

4. A laid back day deserves a laid back outfit.
Team a white cotton T-shirt with dark trousers and black brogues.
A last- minute denim jacket will protect you from the heat and give you a grunge aesthetic appeal.

5. For a day-out with friends team, a classic striped crop top with high waisted ripped jeans.
A pop of red on the lips and ray bans to beat the heat will make people steal your look.

6. The versatile striped top can be paired with a flowy skater skirt.
Add black stockings and vintage oxfords. Most importantly, add a fishtail side braid to look youthful and feminine.

7. A white pirate shirt and dark overalls, paired with a shapeless hat, make you the perfect candidate for an instant photo shoot op with your BFF's.
Add waves to the hair and black strappy flats to the feet.
Red lips never go out of  style.

AND, to conclude, you can never have enough striped tops, especially in monochrome.

Till the next post, Happy Styling!
